The Game detained by policeThe Game has been arrested in Los Angeles on suspicion of making criminal threats, it was revealed today (May 12)
Although precise details of the allegations are unknown, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department revealed that the rapper’s detention related to an incident that happened in February, according to the BBC.
The 27-year-old, real name Jayceon Taylor, is alleged to have made the threats following a three-hour search of his Glendale home.
After being freed on $50,000 police bail, The Game told a film crew outside his home, "I want to say that I'm not guilty, and I love California." Billy Corgan joins effort to create Moog museum
Billy Corgan is lending a hand to preserve the musical legacy of electronic synthesizer pioneer Bob Moog by creating a museum about his life and work.
The Smashing Pumpkins frontman is working with the Bob Moog Foundation to establish the museum and scholarships in his name.
"I believe Bob Moog to be one of the great visionaries of our time," said Corgan in a statement.
"His ideas far transcend use in just music, and to this day continue to have impact in everything from rock to rap to quantum physics. I strongly believe many people all over the world would benefit from being able to interact with the thoughts, ideas, inventions, and life of Dr. Moog."
When Moog died in 2005, he left his archives in a state of disrepair. Now Corgan and the Moog Foundation are working to restore and preserve them in the museum.
